Like it or not, you are a Salesperson
It doesn’t matter what your profession… sales are a part of life. You have to sell yourself in an interview, sell your value in a company, sell your beliefs to your children. No matter what your preconceived notions are about sales, it does not have to be something to fear. It is a skill that you need to develop like any other, except the results of improving this particular skill will have wide reaching benefits.
Not only will developing your sales skill improve your professional life, it will impact your personal life for the better too. Being a salesperson is not about bullying or pressuring people into doing what you want. It is about listening to others so that you can find ways to add value for them. You will learn new ways to articulate your thoughts in a way that connects with others.
I feel that sales skills are an underrated and often ignored skill in personal development. It is important to learn how to project who you are, your skills, and value. Through learning and developing your sales ability, you will unlock a world of possibilities.

I 100% agree with you! Everybody holds traits of a salesperson on a daily basis. Many people do not realize they are even acting as a salesperson in some situations where they might be leading a friend or colleague into a purchase or sale of an item. It almost seems second nature!
